Nice to see you again, friends! Let's see what's new on this second day of Summer School, first real day of lesson. No time to waste!

In the morning, talks with Noè Morin, our Vice President, hosting the master carpenter Dirk Mortier.
Dirk is a very skilled craftsman: he drew our attention on the way how the buildings are built, and why.

...and after a refreshing lunchbreak, everyone at the drawing table! This warm-up session consists of drawing a bit en plein air in the estate —thank you Jupiter god of thunder— and a °creative copying° of a historical map, in order to acquire familiarity with the urban and typological context.
As a desired side effect of this, the brain-hand connection is activated, manuality and observational skills are awaken and we start merging the learning process of both mind and body through small format, easily manageable drawings.
